Perséphone

The work was inspired by paintings and attributes related to the myth of Persephone, goddess of the underworld who had been kidnapped by her uncle Hades.

Inspired by the forest that surrounds me, I wanted to recreate an imaginary forest in my cellar, like a magical corner that she cultivates during the time she is forced to spend in hell before returning to earth to bring spring.
